The Waimea headquarters will be open to the community from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for a fun, family-friendly event filled with more than two dozen astronomy exhibits for all ages.
Keck astronomers, engineers, technicians and administrators will showcase science-rich, interactive activities throughout the campus including infrared selfies, sub-zero nitrogen ice cream and a 3D astronomy movie. In Keck Theater, presentations will highlight the latest on their astronomical research, revolutionary technology and ground-breaking science. Parking is free.
